Saving Ohio's Largest Civil Battle Battlefield

After taking possession of 117 acres on Buffington Island, the positioning of Ohio's largest Civil Battle battle, the American Battlefield Perception has now protected sacred flooring in half the states of the Union. Primarily based in Virginia in 1987, the idea has saved an entire of 56,000 acres at 155 web sites in 25 states. Geographically, the group's presence extends from northern New York State west to New Mexico and chronologically from the “shot heard all by way of the world” in Lexington and Concord that began the Revolutionary Battle to the silence in Appomattox as a result of the Civil Battle ended.

The Perception first launched in spring 2022 its intention to protected the Ohio website online adjoining to the prevailing Buffington Island Battlefield Memorial Park with help from the Buffington Island Battlefield Preservation Foundation.
